Lecturers from the Institute of Physical Education and Health (IPEH) – Dr. Elżbieta Kania, MSc Aleksandra Wysz and MSc Jolanta Burgieł – took part in the scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of university nursing education at the Jagiellonian University. The event brought together leading experts, academic teachers, practitioners and healthcare policymakers.
The conference was an excellent forum for discussing the quality of nursing education, the role of academic teachers and the challenges of contemporary nursing. A particularly important element of the meeting were the speeches of the Deputy Minister of Health and recognised authorities in the field of nursing, whose voices resonated strongly, emphasising the importance of education based on knowledge, experience and values.
The participation of Dr. Elżbieta Kani, MSc Aleksandra Wysz and MSc Jolanta Burgieł was a valuable experience from both professional practice and teaching perspectives, serving as an inspiration for further efforts to improve the quality of education and training of the future nursing professionals.
