Automatic Control and Robotics

 1st cycle

Automatic Control and Robotics’ graduates are comprehensively prepared to carry out engineering tasks in the field of automation of technological processes, especially in the scope of designing and operation of industrial automation devices and systems, as well as their application in automated production systems and programming of computer-integrated manufacturing systems, including programmable logic controllers.

The specializations available are:

  • Industrial Automation
  • Programmable Logic Controllers

Graduates gain special knowledge in the field of designing industrial automation systems based on elements and mechatronic systems: pneumatic, hydraulic and digital ones. They have knowledge in technological machines operation, maintenance and diagnostics. Moreover, they acquire knowledge in the field of computer science, computer aided systems, production systems operation, designing automated and robotic production systems (manufacturing and processing), databases and artificial intelligence systems in the design, machines manufacturing and operation. They also acquire practical skills in constructing, designing and operating machines.
